Hard Hat Housing connects homeowners with traveling construction crews who need housing while working on a nearby project. A mid-term crew rental sits between a short-term booking and a year-long lease. Crews stay for the length of the job, 30+ days. We sign the lease, pay the rent, and stay your point of contact for the whole stay.

30+ DAY STAYS mean fewer turnovers

Crews stay for the length of the project, not just a weekend. Fewer arrivals and departures mean less cleaning between guests, less coordination, and less wear on your home.


NO FEES OR COMMISSIONS TO PAY

We don't charge you anything. You receive the full monthly rent stated in the lease.


WE HANDLE crew coordination for you

We manage the day-to-day communication with the crew for you. Anything urgent comes straight to you, and everything else waits for a reasonable hour.


REGULAR CLEANINGS

We arrange monthly cleanings during the stay. The home is maintained while it's occupied rather than only between tenants.

  • How is rent determined?

    You tell us your rent when you submit your property. If a company's budget doesn't work with your number, we'll talk it through with you before anything is signed. 

  • How and when do I get paid?

    Homeowners are typically paid on a consistent monthly schedule, just like a traditional rental, so you always know when to expect payment. We set up ACH payments to help ensure timely payments and clear communication throughout the lease term.


    Additionally, payment method and timing are clearly outlined in the lease agreement to keep income predictable and transparent.
